Hello! We will start by telling you a little about ourselves. We are a large family- mom, dad, 15 year old daughter, 13 year old daughter, 11 year old daughter, and 7 year old son. As the kids are getting bigger, it feels a little more difficult to find hotels that fit us all comfortably. We are also not huge fans of renting houses- we've had bad luck on a VRBO before and are a little nervous about trying it again. For all of these reasons, we have delayed a trip out west for years. However, we decided to embark on one this year- before our oldest flies the nest.
This blog will serve as a memory for us... and hopefully help some of you along the way. Maybe we have a great idea... or maybe you read this and think "they are crazy, I can do it so much better!" Either way- thanks for sticking around!
